Creating a Pay Period

If there are more than one location, select the location you will be working in. Your user login id will be associated with the primary location by default. Alternately, select an End Date instead of the number of occurrences.

Displays the date range of the pay period based on the frequency selections in the left pane. The Pay Periods display with the start date entered then calculates the pay period end date based on weekly, bi-weekly, bi-monthly settings from the left pane.

To create a new Pay Period

1. Click View > Pay Periods from the menu bar. The Pay Periods Search screen opens.
2. From the Search Results pane, click the New Pay Periods button from the toolbar. The New Pay Periods window opens.
3. Select the Location in Step 1, and then the Payment Frequency in Step 2.
4. Select the Start Date, and then select the number of Occurrences in Step 3. The maximum number of occurrences is 99.

   Select the Start Date, and End Date. The preview pane displays the pay periods for the number of occurrences.

5. Click OK.The newly created Pay Periods appear in the Search Results pane.
